With a full keypad, 5-line full colour LCD display, superb connectivity and communication, the DP4800e from Motorola is one of the most full-featured two-way radios in the Mototrbo range.

Featuring high performance integrated voice and data, plus Bluetooth audio to allow communication without wires and integrated Wi-fi for remote software updates, your organisation will stay better connected, safer and more productive.

A powerful audio amplifier in the DP4800e produces loud clear speech, with industrial noise cancellation for easier, more productive communication. 

Improved range and battery life

The DP4800e benefits from improved technology which offers up to 28 hours of battery life for 3-shift working, and an enhanced receiver to boost the range of the handheld two-way radio by up to 8% compared to previous models.

Safeguarding features

Motorola has given the DP4800e a variety of features which make your team's communication both smarter and safer.  The responsive push-to-talk technology includes a one-touch, prominent orange emergency button to call for assistance, as well as Transmit Interrupt to clear a channel for urgent messages,  a Lone Worker feature plus an integrated accelerometer (Man Down) to detect a fallen colleague and initiate a call for help. Indoor and outdoor location tracking improves your team's visibility and safety via multi-constellation GNSS.

Question: what battery does the Motorola DP4800e take
Answer: The Motorola DP4800 radio can take a number of battery options that Motorola have made available for this radio. For example a good choice of battery we would look to recommend is a PMNN4491, as this gives you greater battery life and also makes the radio a lot lighter in comparison to the standard NIMH battery which comes with the radio.
