Product Description

The 3M Peltor tactical XP is equipped with an active volume function thats lets you hear ambient noises, conversations, machine sounds and warning signals. The soft sounds are amplified so you hear them even clearer than you would have done without hearing protection. This noise is picked up by two microphones and reproduce them in full stereo, allowing you to tell what direction they came from. The tactical XP will also immediately attenuate any sudden harmful impulse noises. This is done by an electronic valve which detects the noise and attenuates it to a harmless level. Once over, the headset with go back to its normal listening function.
