The Icom IC-M423GE VHF marine transceiver offers a wide range of features in a cost-effective package. It has built-in class D DSC and a built-in GPS receiver which shows current position, date / time and can be used for DSC calls (learn more about VHF DSC radio equipment in our Guide). It uses the common NMEA interface for GPS.NAV connection
The Icom-M423GE's transceiver features an intuitive user-interface and a white backlit LCD and keypad.
Superb audio performance is provided by the built-in active noise cancelling technology. There is a 10 W amplifier that increases audio output to an external PA speaker, a public address function, and the foghorn can also be emitted from the external PA speaker.
